Vista Ridge Properties is a real estate solutions company based out of the Austin, Texas area with over 60 years of combined experience of helping homeowners find solutions to their real estate problems. We are a locally owned business and focused on helping homeowners, like you, find solutions. Meet Our Team
Sharon (SAM) McGee: Senior Transaction Coordinator; Acquisitions Specialist
Solving Real Estate Problems is very personal for me. My parents’ home was being foreclosed on. A week before the auction my Dad called me, I could hear the tears in his voice. It was a very hard phone call for both of us. Because of my experience in the Banking Industry I was able to navigate the system and save their home long enough for them to sell it. Over the years, I have helped homeowners find solutions to their Real Estate Problems and would like the opportunity to do it for you too.
Greg McGee: Acquisitions Specialist
Greg has always enjoyed solving problems. That led him to a successful career developing communications products. He worked for large and small companies and after a downsizing event at one of the large companies he saw a need for a change. He and Sharon had a rental and were looking for more when they found they could help people by solving their real estate problems. The first time they helped someone avoid foreclosure and rebuild his credit I Greg knew there was a future in real estate investing.
Bill Bucuk: Lead Strategist
I started investing in Texas properties in 2001 and I’m the lead strategist for creative homeowner solutions for our team. Having nearly gone through personal foreclosure due to massive unpaid medical bills for two of my sons in the late 1990’s, I know firsthand that homeowners in distress are not educated on what non-traditional options may exist to sell their home quickly. Providing help to homeowners in need has become my passion. Whether the issue is a pending foreclosure, a rental home with deferred maintenance, a couple looking to downsize from a home in need of significant updating, inheriting an unwanted home… whatever the situation… there are alternative strategies that may be a much better fit than the standard “realtor MLS listing and cross your fingers” approach. I’m here to work with anyone that asks for our help.
Melissa Bucuk: Office Manager
Almost twenty years ago we sold our home in NJ to pay off medical bills after 2 of our 3 sons got ill from Lyme disease. We were lucky to be able to relocate to Austin, and start again. Waiting 8 months for our home in NJ to sell was very stressful, and we were on the verge of foreclosure. I certainly wish we had someone offer to buy our home quickly!
Sandy Hendricks: Director of Interior Designer
Sandy has been actively involved in real estate investing for over seven years. She and David manage remodels for our team and many other investors. She is the design visionary in our team turning ugly properties into beautiful homes.
David Hendricks: Senior Project Manager
David has been actively involved in real estate investing for over seven years. Having been an insurance adjuster for 40 years, he understands how expensive and time consuming it is for homeowners to fix up their own properties after a claim. David also understands what it’s like to have lost a house in a divorce. He wishes he had someone to present different options to him back then.
Diablo is our mascot. We have given him the title of CMO (Chief Mayhem Officer). Diablo likes to get off of his land and stretch his legs making Bill search far and wide for him.
